Ride entry fees for Tevis go up $100 for a late fee after midnight July 18.
With 105 entries currently signed up, a diverse group will be gathering at the starting line at Robie Park on August 1.
According to the current pre-entry list, riders from New Zealand, UK, and the Netherlands (also US riders, from France, Sweden, Norway, and Lithuania) will join the USA riders. 11 Juniors will ride.
Past Tevis Cup winners participating are: Royal Patron (2016), Supersonic Zell (2025), Treasured Moments (2021, 2023), Sanoma Blakeley (2019), Karen Donley (2016), Hal Hall (1974, 1990), Heather Reynolds (2003, 2014, 2018, 2025), Jeremy Reynolds (2004, 2007, 2011, 2021, 2023), Jeanette Mero (2024).
Past Haggin Cup (Best Condition) winners participating are: Hal Hall (1972 and 1978 with El Karbaj, 2002 with Bogus Thunder), Heather Reynolds (1999 with Crystal’s Charm, 2003 with Master Motion), Jeremy Reynolds (2004 with CV Eli, 2011 with Riverwatch, 2017 with Treasure Moments), Jeanette Mero (2021 with Ozark Kaolena SWA), Lindsay Fisher (2019 with Monk), Christoph Schork (2022 with VA Blizzard of Oz), Reyna Mero (2024 with Chndakas Eklipse), John Perry (2025 with A Real Diva), and horses Treasured Moments (2017), MM Cody (2018), A Real Diva (2025).
With a finish, Hal Hall is looking to tie Barbara White’s record number of Tevis Cup finishes with 34.
The Robie Cup is awarded to the equine who completes (at least) five Tevis Cups. Four entries will get that with a finish this year: West Wind Dragon (an Arabian-Appaloosa gelding ridden by Chelsea Arnold), Alexander Hamilton (Arabian cross gelding ridden by Stevie Delahunt), Chuck Norris, (Arabian gelding ridden by Debby Olmstead), Lotto Ticket (mare mule ridden by Shane Lesher), SVR Mercury Rising (Arabian gelding ridden by Isabelle Watson).
Treasured Moments (Arabian mare with Jeremy Reynolds) will be going for her 7th buckle. MM Cody (mustang ridden by Ken Campbell) will be going for his 9th buckle. Royal Patron (Arabian mare ridden by Andy Botello) will be going for her 9th buckle.
